Automotive Question?
What does it mean when you see a car on the side of the highway that is obviously broken down, and it has a white flag (or something that is white) attached to the drivers side window? I have always wondered this. Thanks!

You have gotten some funny responses to your question but I believe the real answer is that the police stop to check on the car to see if there are any warrants or if the car has been stolen and abandoned. Then they put an obvious sticker on the window so that every cop in town that drives by does not have to do the check over and over,
