Can you see this poem being in an Impala commercial with Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson saying every other line?
My Chevy makes a sound
My Chevy goes ’round and ’round
I hear it thunder on the track
I feel the seat against my back
I see the checkered flag rise and I stare
I smell the sweet smell of victory in the air!
Chevy an American revolution
I made it up myself! Just wanted to see what you thought!
I did come up with this poem in fifth grade for my poetry book so yeah it might sound a little elementary. But what a good way to get kids themselves interested in the sport and better yet into Chevy.

Very nice poem. But i don’t see both of them saying it at the same time, because only one can really smell the sweet smell of victory, and that is Jeff Gordon.

how should I say it? "faggish"
The lyrical content is uneducated, and the philosophical aspect is weak. It might be good at a grade school level. But c’mon man, have some respect for the sport.

That’s a pretty good poem. I gotta agree with the others though, have all the Chevy drivers in it along with Smoke. They could all be standing there with a race going on in the background You might as well send it into Chevrolet, who knows it could be on tv next season! Good luck! =o`)
