Now “NO GRINGO DAY” and “Don’t buy American” and now Callings us Gringo isn’t that racsit why should we help?
It seems like a slap in the face to help people that fly there flag here while walking illegally in our streets Flying our flag upside down under their’s then changing the words to our anthem then telling people around the world not to buy American And March in the streets in protest stating they are here to work by taking the day off.
There has been now name calling here then "Gringo"
What is next?

Most Americans are just unaware. The media, especially MTV tends to refer to them as "immigrents" or "workers" or something PC like that. They never mention that they’re also criminals.

I AGREE!
I was thinking the same thing the day of that damn immigrant rally bs thing the other day. I go to school around Union Square and while I was in class I could STILL HEAR THEM! I read an article and a person wore a shirt that said, "I’m an illegal immigrant, so what?" That pissed me off. Would they want to see a shirt that says, "I’m an illegal immigrant harasser, so what?" or "I murder illegal immigrants, so what?"
These people BROKE the law, what right do they have to demand sh*t from us? It pissed me off that they did that AND were so loud it was disturbing MY learning. What the f*ck.
It’s kind of like, if you don’t like it here, then LEAVE! Canada isn’t that far from NY.

no it won’t wake them up, usually a good talking too helps americans, but none of them speak any sense. Thats beyond the point. Don’t blame Mexico (if you were about to) but blame all the countries in the world, because they all percieve america nearly all in the same light, they tend to hate it or joke about it. Now if I was american this would piss me off. But I would get on with my own life.
America is a capatilist country because it is a large country therefore they can handle poverty when it occurs. Americans should be proud that they have rights, and ambition, and fun.
America should also take note that "don’t buy american" is a slogan that should be changed to "oh america has some cool stuff and our country can’t develop, make, or sell anything worth a dime".
P.S- I hate immigrants too!

I do think it i wrong. they are a bunch of hipocrits. they are more racist then the racist were before all this sh*t started. how do they exzpect to gain respect if they are going to be just as racist as many of the people that are against them.

I am married to a wonderful woman who is part Hispanic and she is just as hard or harder than me on this issue. Some of my best military buddies are Hispanic and I would have died for any of them as well they for me. Hispanics have also won many (maybe the most) Medal of Honor medals fighting for this country, lets not forget that in our anger. I am not saying it is an excuse for the unnecessary name calling but many Hispanics belong in our halls of honor.
On the other hand I do not understand how the individuals that form these Marches and Protest find such name calling and improper flag flying productive. If anything it is totally counter productive. What do they hope to gain from this? To dishonor our flag? A flag that many of their own have died for. Common folks think!!! America is a melting pot of many different cultures and that is what makes it great. Think about it, could we get by with this in Mexico? I will bet not. You are here because of the freedoms of this wonderful country, do not slap us in the face. We Americans are not perfect but we do love our country and our flag. Last, we are not Gringo’s we are all Americans. God Bless America and all its ethnic groups.

ohhhh many of us Americans are awake…. its the whining liberals that are in the daze…..and yes we know not all that marched were illegals … whats your point??? America has nothing against immigrants… we have something against ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS… huge difference …its not very endearing to march waving another countries flag and claim to want to stay here, and then to take it a step further by insulting out flag flying it lower and or upside down. and changing our national song in Spanglish..we don’t go to other counties illegally and demand rights.. and no we wont miss your work force if you leave … their are plenty of Americans out of work…. in Mexico illegals immigrants are not welcomed… they are treated as criminals, even legal immigrants are treated as second class citizens there… yet they protest and demand we treat them better than their country would treat us…. its time for all Americans to wake up!!!!!!!!!!

Okay. I am an American. Let’s be more specific for the purpose of arguement… I am a white, non-hispanic American. This is my oppinion:
I’m torn on the subject.
First, I dont like the idea of illegal immigrants coming into this country. For the simple reason that I pay my taxes to live here and they should too. However, ever single person of European, African, Asian, etc heritage are immigrants to this country. Or have we forgotten that?
Second, I don’t like the idea that many do not speak English, our native language, which makes it hard to communicate with them. HOWEVER, I do not know anyone who speaks Sioux or Cherokee so I guess we have to drop that issue.
Third, I don’t like the idea that they take jobs from Americans who are willing to work. However, many of the jobs they take are jobs that legal Americans are unwilling to do because they are "demeaning". Also, Americans expect to be paid more because we want to buy the house and the car and the big screen television. They on the other hand want to put food on the table and clothes on their kids.
Further more, have we forgotten that Texas was originally Mexico? Let’s give it back! While we’re at it, let’s give back Hawaii to the Hawaiians, Alaska to the Russians, Louisianna to the French, Florida to the Seminoles, The Midwest to the Cherokee and Sioux and the East Coast back to England. Oh, and while we’re at it drag all the Americans back from Japan, China, Taiwan, South Africa, and Australia.
My solution?
1) Make it easier to become a legal, tax paying citizen of the U.S. and crack down harder on those who still choose to remain illegal citizens
2) Encourage U.S. companies to make quality products as opposed to cheap items that bring quick profit
3) Stop worrying about the Hispanic man working in the factory and start focusing on the Caucasian kid down the street selling drugs to your kids
4) Force anyone who doesn’t like these new rules to give all their assets to the Native Americans and drop them off in some third world country.
Okay, so it’s a little out there, but it’s late and I’m cranky so try to find a spark of humor and realize that everyone is just trying to make the best for themselves.
Oh, and you’re arguement might be a little stronger if you took some lessons in English grammar.

Uh, many of those places you speak of were purchased. And regardless of what the past was like we live in the present now. It doesn’t matter if the land belonged to someone else before. The U.S. is U.S. property and it will and should not change.
