oh no is this really happening between china and africa or is it propaganda? im terrified?! :(?
for the record im african american but i care about the continenet and its well being but seeing that other countries continue to exploit the continent for their own good is just sickening to me can someone explain to me rather this is going on or not and if it is then why isnt no one standing up to protest this and why is the govt letting this happen? hopefully obama will make a difference

China’s rulers believe Africa can become a ‘satellite’ state, solving its own problems of over-population and shortage of natural resources at a stroke. With little fanfare, a staggering 750,000 Chinese have settled in Africa over the past decade. More are on the way.
The strategy has been carefully devised by officials in Beijing, where one expert has estimated that China will eventually need to send 300 million people to Africa to solve the problems of over-population and pollution.
Across Africa, the red flag of China is flying. Lucrative deals are being struck to buy its commodities – oil, platinum, gold and minerals. New embassies and air routes are opening up. More than a thousand miles of new Chinese railroads are crisscrossing the continent, carrying billions of tons of illegally-logged timber, diamonds and gold.
The trains are linked to ports dotted around the coast, waiting to carry Africa’s goods/resources back to CHINA after unloading cargoes of cheap toys made in China.
Massive dams are being built, flooding the nature reserves. The land is scarred with giant Chinese mines, with ‘slave’ labourers paid less than a day to extract ore and minerals. Pristine forests are being destroyed with China taking up to 70 per cent of all timber from Africa back to Beijing.
Exclusive, gated compounds, serving only Chinese food, and where no BLACKS are allowed, are being built all over the continent. ‘African cloths’ sold in markets on the continent are now almost always imported, bearing the legend: ‘Made in China’.
Since a large part of our Trillion $$ debt is to China and they certainly have saturated our market with their cheap imports…

Yeah probably, i wouldn’t be surprised, but even in egypt where things are very crowed you still see chinese people living there for some reason, i know its odd, but generally african people are not racist so they cant do anything about them.

They have been in Africa since the 60s, as a child I spent two years in Tanzania, with my parents, the Chinese were all over.
I found this for you, and yes it is very scary.
China and Tanzania signed the Agreement Between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania on Cultural Cooperation in 1962 and 1992 respectively. Since the 1960s China began to receive Tanzanian students. By the end of 2004 a total of 573 Tanzanian students have studied in China. Since 1964, China has begun sending medical teams to Tanzania. In 1967 the two countries signed the Agreement on Dispatching Chinese Medical Teams to Tanzania. There are currently 46 Chinese medical personnel working in Tanzania.

Yes, but only in a few select nations, Tanzania and The Congo’s are the only ones I can think of.
In South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Gabon, Angola, Nigeria (already overpopulated), Ghana are probably not going to experience this.
But also, it would eliminate much poverty b/c they will bring jobs and resources and create a good tax base.
