Should I buy a Flash Pass for Six Flags Magic Mountain?
We’re planning on visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain on Monday, June 28. I know sometimes it gets crazy busy so I was wondering if we should use the Flash Pass system? I’ve never used it before. Which level is the best for riding all the coasters in one day? Seems like regular just helps you avoid actually standing in line (but your wait is the same). Gold reduces your time in line and Platinum reduces it further and lets you ride twice. Ive been there before but never used the Flash Pass. Help? Advice?

Platinums the best but keep in mind its more expensive. And plus if its a busy day you have to wait up to 2 or maybe even more hours in line for just one ride and you might not be able to ride all the rides.I used the flash pass system you need your credit card and license to get a flash pass. Hope you have fun.

i guess if you dont wanna stand in lines just buy it

I would recommend you don’t purchase the Flash Pass in advance online, because if the park ends up being empty you would have wasted tons of money on a needless pass.
The crowd level is dependent on two main factors: the day of the week and the weather. You’re visiting on a Monday, which is generally a pretty quiet day at the park. Also, it is supposed the be very hot on June 28, so more people may go to the water park instead of the normal park.
I would recommend waiting until you get to the park to see how crowded it is. If it ends up being jam-packed, then go ahead and buy a gold or platinum Flash Pass (they both greatly reduce your waiting) immediately–before they sell out. However, if the park is dead, then skip the Pass and save yourself the money.
And remember: you must show some form of photo ID or a credit card to buy a Flash Pass.
