When the blueprints of a time machine fall in the hands of a 16-year old named Spencer, he along with 2 scientists, put it together to create time travel. The machine brings them to November 2, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. After a near death experince in a drug store robbery, they attempt to return home. Only one problem…the machine is broke. When they finally comes to their senses and realize that they are stuck in the 60′s in Dallas, they all attempt to get jobs. Spencer along with Dr. Lipp are offered a position in a 4th floor sorting room in the Texas Schoolbook Depository. After 2 weeks of labor, Spencer meets a fellow worker named Lee. Little did he know, that was Lee Harvey Oswald. It’s now November 22, 1963. It’s around 12:00. As Spencer and Dr. Lipp go to work, Dr. Lipp tells Spencer and that today was the day that JFK was assassinated. That’s when it hits them. The assassination hasn’t yet occurred and they have the ability to stop it. Meanwhile, the other scientist, Mr. Stolt, calls Spencer with the news that he had fixed the time machine, but it looks like it will only be running for 20 minutes. It’s now 12:15. Crowds arouse nearby the building, all sporting American flags and banners for Mr. Kennedy. What should Dr. Lipp and Spencer do? Do they go to the apartment where they are living and go "back to the future", or do they save the life of former president John F. Kennedy?

I have a project in which I must write a sci-fi story. After countless ideas, I tried throwing in something that fascinated me. (JFK assassination) But I’m not sure if it seems like a good story, or at least falling in the sci-fi genre. Please let me know! Will choose a best answer! Thanks!

There were people attaching the American flag to any part of their cars to prove to the world that Americans love our country and that we stand together as one nation to support one another.

I recalled tonight as I was thinking about to that time. That the fire trucks all had huge American flags waving in the wind as they drove down the streets, people’s pride in our country. It
choked me up to see those huge flags waving like a banner.

That day of 911 we all came together as a country, there was no one looking at one another as if they did not belong. Nope we were one Nation under God indivisible with Truth and Justice for all.

As I sit here typing this the tears are running down my cheeks
as I love my country so much, and I hate seeing it war torn in the news media with nit picky things that mean nothing and our boys and women over there across the waters fighting for the freedoms of others. It is hard to imagine that some do not even support our troops.

I just wanted to remind everyone that we are one nation under God.
and it is how it should be. No white/no black/no color just good people in one belief that we together we stand or together we fall.

When we go to the Bahamas, lot’s of the nicer hotels have Canadian and American flags at the front, or at the back near the pools. It’s really weird, because it’s not in Canada or the USA. I guess I can understand that they put up the American flag since lot’s of the hotels are American, and Bahamas are near Florida, but then why Canadian? But it still seems weird to have the Canadian and American flags at hotels in the Bahamas.

In the weeks following 9/11 34.8 million dollars in sales came from Chinese made American flags.

Wal-Mart is the largest retailer/grocery store/corporation in the history of planet earth and sells pretty much nothing that’s made in the states. Wal-mart is also trampling all over the world of mom-n-pop shops.

Republicans had just as much to do with NAFTA as Clinton did so please think twice before using that card.

I’m not a wrestling expert myself, but a "face" is a good guy and a "heel" is a bad guy, I think.

Movie being filmed in my town – How can I be an extra and exactly what is an extra?
I’m not exactly sure if an extra is just extra people that are already involved with the film or not, but at one of the buildings in my town they put up a big sign with EXTRAS > > > > and a big arrow pointing into the doorway. Does this apply to anyone who wants to be in the film who isn’t an actor, like local people from the town?

If it is, what sort of roles do they look for? The movie is based on a presidential speech in a small town in Texas. I live in a Canadian town and they’ve decorated the town center park with big statues and huge American flags and red white & blue flag "fans"/banners and the Texas state flag. Our town looks like a Classic American town with Americana Victorian homes so I guess that’s why they are filming here. Plus were only 1 hour from the NY state border.

So anyways, I’m only 16. Am I too young? And does extras mean anyone can go sign up to be an extra?!?!?

Nearly 100 people gathered at Tucson police headquarters Friday to protest the department’s recent announcement that it would no longer call immigration officials to schools or churches.
The protesters, holding American flags and signs that read "Enforce our laws" and "Zero tolerance for illegals," walked to police headquarters at 270 S. Stone Ave. from Armory Park in an effort to change the policy.Assistant Police Chief Roberto Villaseñor went outside shortly after 10 a.m., thanked the crowd for their civic participation and told them the department would take the petition into consideration. But he said the department wouldn’t change its policy.
"Our main mission is not enforcement of immigration laws, our main mission is public safety," he said. "There’s federal agencies that are tasked with that."http://www.azstarnet.com/metro/210932

The department has officially modified its policy to include language that prohibits police officers from calling immigration officials to schools or churches.

soooo…..It’s about ENFORCEMENT. They’re just here to maintain "public safety." (I guess I don’t need to pay for car registrations any longer–or buy car insurance.)

ALSO, it’s nice that they’re deciding which rights they won’t take away.

FURTHER,,it’s nice that this fellow can state that–on one hand, "the department would take the petition into consideration," WHILE on the other hand, "the department wouldn’t change its policy."
