why do more people go to disneyland compared to six flags?
I’m 19 and I live in southern california, and I noticed more people go to disneyland compared to six flags, why is that? People go to theme parks for the rides right? Well six flags has way more exciting rides that give you that thrill and ride feeling. Whenever any of my friends go to a theme park it’s six flags, and I don’t get what it is with disneyland? All the rides would put me to sleep there!

Mainly because every kid wants to go to Disneyland and they keep nagging until their parents cave-in. Six flags is way better but not a lot of people can handle the rides. Personally, I think Six Flags is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Disneyland’s main demographic are young children. Since there’s A LOT of young children, that means a lot of people at Disneyland. Furthermore, 80% of young children are familiar with Disney-related stuff and they want to see people like Mickey Mouse or classic Disney characters.
And Disneyland is known for tamer rides than Six Flags. Do you honestly think a 6 year old is going to ride Kingda Ka? So that’s why.

Six Flags is a "thrill rides" theme park. The rides cater to the young and wild crowd like teenagers, young tweens, and college age students, though there are both younger and older people who enjoy thrill rides. Disneyland is a theme park for families, senior citizens, etc they cater to everyone whether you like thrill rides or not. Disneyland has a better overall atmosphere and more to do than just rides, which is why it sees larger crowds. Also Disneyland can accomodate more people and the Disney name is known around the world.

disneyland is better for kids, with the theme rides and all that.
