Why isn’t the United States Flag considered racist since it was the original slave owners flag?
Considering the Confederate flag is considered racist and flew over the south for only 4 years and th U.S. Flag had flown over the slaves from the time they were bought from the blacks in Africa and sold in the North. Why?

umm, it isn’t the same. are you saying the north flew a flag with 50 stars? they must have really been smart to realize how many states were gonna be part of the country in the future i guess.

That’s such consummate bogosity.
You can attribute racism to ANYTHING, even white toilet paper.
Move along son.

because the flag is the symbol of the country. It’s isn’t the Confederate Flag and it was flown after the colonies broke away from England. I can’t see why it WOULD be considered racist.

The confederate flag isn’t considered as racist for flying over the south it is considered racist because hate groups have used it as a pro-white symbol for years.

The U.S. isn’t the only country that used to allow slavery. The reason the Confederate flag is considered racist is because the Confederates broke away from the U.S. to fight for the right to continue slavery (amongst other things). Also, let us not forget that for many years the U.S. has been a primary figurehead of freedom and peace in the modern world.

Neither are racist.
