So, I have a tattoo in mind. I'm 16, and I've wanted this tattoo since I was 14.?
The link is http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/frozendreamz/photo.jpg. It’s the Filipino Flag’s symbol, three stars and the sun, and the banner says my last name. I chose the Filipino Flag because I’m Filipino, and I’m proud of my ethnicity. I know what the three stars and sun mean, and I made sure I wanted this tattoo before I got it. Hence the 2 year thought.
So, what are your thoughts?
Sorry for the bad link. Here you go:

Wait until you are 18 or so, because what u like now will probably be different then. i got one when i was 17, and i don’t really like it now. and they are PERMANENT!

Its ok. Good you’ve waited two years, wait two more so you can get it professionally done. Remember you are in a very formidable stage right now and what you like today may not be what you like tomorrow, even if you’ve liked it since you were 14. Wait two more years, you will be happier that you did.

I strongly, strongly suggest you wait till you are 18. By that time, you’re opinions of what you want might change. You might still want a tattoo but not of a flag. The tattoo artists are not going anywhere and you don’t have to rush these kind of decisions.

I think this is a safe tattoo for you to get since your ethnicity is something that won’t change, and that you’ll probably always be proud of. I myself have two tattoos which relate to my ethnicity, and I love them.
The only thing I think you should be careful of here is the artist you use. Because of your age, many reputable artists may turn you down. I can only suggest in the strongest possible terms that you make sure the artist you use is excellent. It is always worth waiting longer and paying more to get an amazing tattoo than to spend your whole life with something crappy because you couldn’t stand to wait.
Think about it carefully, do research on your artist, and good luck!
I think if you really want it go for it!
More power to you that you drew it too.
I drew my tattoo and everyone loves it.
Plus its a one of a kind.
And if it means something to you than who cares what people say.
I like it in case you were wondering though.
And I got my tattoo when I was 16. Just look for an amazing artist and make sure your parents are okay with it than the artists normally don’t have any problem with it.
