I don’t understand. How does a flag make anything different?

Oh flags and banners are obviously more powerful and convincing because what’s ever written on them is invariably un-arguable truth always.

Huh?
Banners or flags are generally used for groups of people or organizations. Are you perhaps referring to some group of atheists? I will assert that most atheists do not belong to groups and will not know what you are talking about or even referring to at all.

Atheists don’t need flying banners, flags, churches, halls, books, indoctrination or meetings.
Atheists do not believe in gods.

When I was about 7 I remember holding a flag and waving it around. It was great fun!
Then I grew up:)
Give me flag today and I might become a child again for a while. But I would know that it just a beautiful play!
Nationalism is a divisive force that drives people apart.
Flags and banners are only as worthy as the individuals who hold them aloft in my opinion.
